Evaluate Nitrogen Use Efficiency for Crop Nutrition Products

Spectral phenotyping quantifies nitrogen status and use efficiency (N-sensitive indices, green-cover fraction, biomass accumulation) to evaluate crop-nutrition products against N-rate references.

Evaluate Nitrogen Use Efficiency for Crop Nutrition Products

Plot-level, spatially dense evidence that isolates the true nitrogen response of each product from field noise

Proving that a crop-nutrition product improves nitrogen use efficiency means separating a modest treatment effect from soil heterogeneity and micro-climate. Destructive tissue sampling is far too sparse to do that, and it costs the plot it is taken from.

PhenoScale multispectral flights measure Green Cover, NDRE, CI Red-Edge, Canopy Chlorophyll Content and Plant Biovolume on every plot at every date, against the N-rate reference modalities of the trial. Cloverfield profiles each modality over time and runs the statistical comparison across the whole design.

The result is dense, spatially explicit data that isolates the true NUE response of each product and supports efficacy claims with statistically robust, plot-level evidence. Where grain protein and yield are available, the spectral response is checked directly against the harvest.
